This is not a booking form. It is how we work out what you actually need before you spend anything — which assessment, which clinician, and whether an assessment is the right move at all.

Every enquiry is read by a clinician, not a call centre. We reply within [TURNAROUND] with what we think fits, what it costs, and the next available appointment. If we think you do not need an assessment, we will say that.

Who this is for

Age changes which clinician and which instruments are appropriate, and in some cases which Medicare items apply.

This matters more than people expect. ADHD prescribing rules differ by state, so where you live changes who can prescribe for you after a diagnosis and what the report needs to say.

A few sentences is plenty. It helps us put you with the right clinician the first time.

What the report has to do

This is the single most useful thing you can tell us. It decides what evidence has to be in the report and, sometimes, which clinician has to sign it.

The NDIS does not fund diagnostic assessments, so this does not change what you pay. It changes what the report needs to contain.

What does it cost?

Autism $1,650, ADHD $1,650, both together $1,950, cognitive from $1,450. Full detail on the pricing page, including what is and is not claimable.

Can I get a Medicare rebate?

For an adult psychologist-led autism or ADHD assessment, no — there is no Medicare item for it. There are items that apply to psychiatrist assessments and to under-25s in some circumstances. We will tell you honestly in our reply whether anything applies to you rather than leaving you to find out later.

I am not in Australia right now.

Tell us anyway. It depends on what the report is for and where you are. Some purposes need an Australian-based assessment and some do not.

I already have a report and it was rejected.

Send us the enquiry and say so. Sometimes the issue is a missing piece that can be added rather than a whole new assessment.
